China has 5000 years history, people are proud of it.
However, Greek told me, they have 7000 years of history, which really impressed me with this number.
I always beleive from food you can tell the history, from history you can tell the food.
Although, I haven't studied why most of the greek food are grill ones. I do understand why there are lots of sea food in Greece.

中國人驕傲於5千年的悠久歷史文化,但是你知道希臘人有著7千年的歷史嗎
當希臘人驕傲的與我炫耀時,真是他媽的太跩了
但是我還是堅持我們中國祖先古老的智慧與文化產物
通常歷史地理等會塑造當地的飲食文化,例如墨西哥氣候炎熱,飲食需要點辣未來提振食慾
我也不知什麼原因希臘的飲食幾乎已燒烤為主,烤羊是在復活節傳統的儀式
爲何是羊,我也不太清楚,但是ㄧ般去餐廳吃烤肉,通常雞牛羊豬都有
ㄧ餐下肚,放出來的屁真的不是蓋的

How Greeks become eating grilled food? I didn't study for it. I only know that Greek food sometimes have similar style like turkish ones.
Due to in the past, some part of Turky region are actually belongs to Greek. So it happens that they share similar foods. I suppose.

我只知道土耳其與希臘在飲食上有些類似,即使宗教上不同
主要原因是土耳其的領土曾經是希臘的一部份,因為戰爭的關係,導致現在土耳其橫跨歐亞大陸
驕傲的希臘人說土耳其最美的地方就是以前曾經是希臘人的領土
跩什麼跩,現在也不是土耳其人自己的


Suggesting by local Greek, we order 3 dishes only. 2 for salads and 1 grilled meat.
The first one is mushroom with tomatos and with a sweet sour sauce. Not sure what it called. But I love it.
It's more like a healthy food for me. Since too much grilled meat will make me feel bad in digest sometimes.

不想牽涉太多政治,我們是來吃飯的,這家餐廳我已經光顧過三次
每次都被他的飲食吸引,但也是因為食物烹調的不錯,有別於其它臨港的餐廳
於是不可免俗的我們點了四人份的烤肉,雞豬羊牛等
Pita與烤洋芋就壓在所有的肉下方,感覺好像吸了很多油
但是烤肉用的香料真的不是蓋的,香香香





The 2nd salad was known as a special dish mostly present it in Greek island.
Olive oil, feta cheese, chopped tomatos with crunch bread (really crunch, like a cookies but tasty).
Oh, I love this dish a lot.

我們點了兩盤沙拉,ㄧ盤是磨菇蕃茄配上酸甜醬,另ㄧ盤是聽說只有在希臘小島才有的沙拉
以Feta cheese,剁碎的蕃茄,酸豆還有很脆很好吃的麵包所組合而成的
尤其是麵包,與其說他是麵包不如說他是介於麵包與絣乾之前的口感
吃起來特別香又特別有咬勁

We are sitting next to the port, so you can easily see lots of small fishes swimming waiting for the bread that customers left.
And some fishermen is preparing to sail out at night too. Nice environment. This is nice thing in Greece.
Birght sky, cozy weather, nice food, clean seas and nice beaches.

我們坐在港口旁享用著美食,低頭ㄧ看魚就在海面上遊來游去期待著我們吃剩的麵包
我想他們早就知道這裡有時候而不肯離開
還可以撇見魚夫正在整理漁網準備晚上的出航
人生在此時此刻真是一大享受





用完餐當然不可以放過甜點,我最愛希臘的香草冰淇淋
強烈濃郁的奶香,但卻不會黏膩,夏天我必點的聖品
可惜餐廳的香草冰淇淋賣完了,只能提供Mastiha口味的冰淇淋
Mastiha只有在希臘小島Chios的樹才能產出,這是樹的汁液
以被開發多樣商品,如口香糖,甜點,酒或者是肥皂等等
甚至還有Mastiha專賣店,更成功引進到其他國家
口味非常特殊我不會形容,但是有種嗆鼻的味道,對我而言,有吃過就好

Later, we ordered 2 deserts. One is chcoloate with Mastiha ice cream. Pity, vanilla ice cream sold out already.>
I love Greek vanilla ice cream, it is the best I have ever tasted. Heavy milk taste, creamy but not too stiky. >
Well, I could accept this Mastiha too. It is a special liquid coming from trees in Chios island. >
You can't find Mastiha in other place of Greek either in the world. That's what I heard.>
Greek even use Mastiha to make chewing gum, deserts, wines, and sopas too. >
