Hong Kong, a place full of local snack, traditional cantonees foods, mix with lots of food culture.
When you walked through the local steet, you can find nice and tasty food hiding in each corner waiting for you to discovery it.
I always believe the local flavor is locating in local area, only HK people know the way.
The rest listed on the guidebook, they are just part of marketing.

I like asian food culture, I always feel we are those who really understand how to bring the taste of food or ingredients itself.
Moreover, we are all kneen to try new stuff too and combine them well.
I even think our tounge is the most sensetive in taste, like a dancer, who dance with music and we dance with foods.
我熱愛亞洲的美食文化,也一直認為亞洲人對於食物的敏銳度有著優異的天賦
更重的是我們知道如何把食材本身的美味透過烹調引導出來
而且我們也勇於嘗試與結合,創造出不衣樣的風味



I met a lot of european who sometimes judge the food by its outlook, do not dare to try something is uncook, like sashimi.
Or after knowing the real shape of origin food, start getting terffied with those dishes.
However, I have my own policy. "Always try them once, then you decide it later". Maybe sometimes you should give even 3 different chances.
As our chinese usually said, try 3 times, no more than 3. Then you judge it.
I believed when you see how people tasting food and you would somehow tell their personality as well.
There is an old chinese saying " do not judge a book by it's cover". So how we should judge the food taste nice or bad just by their presentation.

甚至有些人會因為食物本身的長相,或者是生食等擔心害怕擔心
但我總是有一個原則,不論我身在哪一個國家,先嘗試過賅道菜,我們再下判斷
食物的呈現固然重要,但往往真正的美味也會存在那些看起來不怎樣擺盤中





I love seafood, I like to taste it when it's fresh. However, when I say fresh I mean still swimming and live.
In this case, you can really feel the texture. The shrip looks ungly from it outlook, but the taste is amazing.
我喜歡新鮮食材,更熱愛海鮮,尤其是新鮮打撈的,如此一來才能嘗到海鮮的層層肉質
看似醜陋的撒尿蝦,竟有如此美味



I like to travel and I like to taste all kinds of different things.
Next time when you travel to HongKong, don't judge it too fast by the food's presentation.
Try everything once, don't let your brain to do the taste, let your tounge to feel them.
It is really amazing.
