What kind of restaurant can be reported by Travel Channel and keep customers waiting in a long quee just to get their food?
Almost every weekend, this restaurant is packed with people and even the take out area is queeing with customers like me who is traveling far away just to get one bite.
You can find tourists, local people, family and friends gather together to enjoy their greek food.
For me, I try their pork pita several times, but never really have a chance to sit down and enjoy other food slowly.

什麼樣的美食可以讓這家位在Monatrisaki廣場餐廳生意興隆
每到假日便是高朋滿座
連外帶區也都擠滿了人潮
旁邊幾間小店更是顯得微不足道
每次來到這裡都是買份豬肉Pita帶著走吃
很少坐下來品嘗他們的食物
這次難得有機會可以做在這裡飽餐一頓


The decoration of this restaurant is hanging with lots of famous people who have ever been here.
They are local greek entertainers, poloticans, celeberties and some royal family from Asia.
Those pictures are helping the restaurant to present themselves how famous they are.
At the same time, I would say there is no boundry when we are talking about some nice local food.
For me, sometime, foods bring people together.

每位名人都會與老闆留念並高掛在牆上
有總理,歌星,元首,商政界各名人等還有亞洲某國家的皇室
族繁不及備載...顯示出美食引領天下的氣勢
美食也是不分國界的



Birght light, clean desk, organized dishes, nice serivce, which are totally different from my impression of Greek.
Due to if you visit Greece, you can find the dark side and dirty side of Athens.
However, at this restaurant, everything is clean and well-presented.
In weekends, you can even feel the noises and vivid atomsphere from local greek, like they are so affraid that people who is sitting next to them can't hear their talking.

窗明几淨,簡單又整潔的排列,井然有序的動線(至少沒有像週末一樣,人滿為患)
呈現出異於希臘人的秩序,更展現出整潔
畢竟雅典的骯髒是大家有目共睹的
這裡你可以選擇室內或者是室外的座位
雅典的太陽也是挺熱的...室內有時也是不錯的選擇
但室外則可以感受朝氣蓬勃的雅典人...以及吵雜的聊天聲





We ordered beef pita, greek salad, and another salad might call Jaziki in greek. (I can't remember it now)
I love there Pita, full of texture and serve it warm and soft.
Greek salad is mixed with Feta Cheeze, tomato, cucumber, olive, oinion and with oilve oil.
This is also the most common vegetables for Greek, easy, fast, simple and without cooking.
Even though the taste is nice, but I still prefer our way of cooking vegetables.
But for me, too much meat and grilled can result my bad digest. That's why I eat a lot of water and yogurt to help me a bit.

我們點了牛肉的Pita...希臘沙拉...還有另外一個我不會拼的沙拉醬(Jaziki...好像是這樣...下次了解一下)
我非常愛吃他們的Pita...香Q又有咬勁...
希臘沙拉則是非常簡單用Feta Cheeze,蕃茄,小黃瓜,橄欖,洋蔥,淋上橄欖油所組成的
這也是唯一希臘人常吃的蔬菜...簡單快速方便不用烹調
雖然希臘沙拉搭配Feta Cheeze與橄欖油非常好吃
但我還是喜愛我們的燙青菜...而且吃多希臘烤肉...如廁還真有點給他不順暢與惡臭
往往我都要搭配許多優格與水,幫助消化...不知這應該是我們東方人體質的問題...還是我個人的問題
但說到烤肉真的沒話說...可千萬別拿我們的沙威瑪與他的Keba或Pita相比
這可差的十萬八千里...獨特的香料便是台灣沒有的,更有著特殊肉質的搭配
撲鼻而來的香氣..真的會令你食指大動..ㄧ吃就上癮
往往希臘人會搭配薯條ㄧ起享用...另一個則是用優格,洋蔥,小黃瓜,大蒜等組合而成的沙拉
沾著麵包非常可口...但吃完這一餐,嘴巴的口氣也真的是逼人喔~~
即使是這樣...我還是非常愛吃...現在想著還流口水呢




This restaurant is the 3rd generation, it is owned by family.
Greek value family a lot, which also lead some samll biz are always running by family or heritate to family too.
You might think if this restaurant is so famous, maybe they have some other branches in Athen or other part of Greece.
The truth is...this is the one and the only, maybe this is also the reason why they still keep acient recepit and do not let industrialized or any captialism to manipulate their origi tradition.
Which even reflect the turth culture of Greek food and hundred year of recipits too.

這家店已經傳承到第三代..如果我沒記錯的話
全部是家族企業經營
希臘人是個重視家庭的民族也導致許多企業都是以家族為宗
別以為這間店因為聲名遠播,便有著許多分店
全希臘就此一家,別無分店...裡面看得到的大多都有親戚關係
道道地地的肥水不落外人田...但也或許過度的商業化
將會有不同的風貌...向這樣傳承百年的食譜...和飲食文化..才更彰顯出他的價值吧!!
